The centrepiece of the Raw Elements collection, this wide copper ring embodies the fierce, earth‑born energy that defines the entire line. Its surface is deeply textured, echoing the rugged terrain of the creator's thought process.
At its heart lies a brass bed cradling a raw emerald, nestled securely within a sculpted copper nest. The contrast is striking: molten‑toned copper, golden brass warmth, and the untamed green of an uncut stone. Together they create a piece that feels unearthed rather than manufactured, as if discovered in the cooled remnants of a volcanic forge.
The ring's bold width and tactile surface make it a true statement, celebrating copper in its most primal, organic, and elemental form. This is jewellery that honours the earth's raw materials—unrefined, powerful, and beautifully imperfect.
Adjustable — fits easily larger or slightly smaller than measured.
Diameter: 18.3mm | Width: 17.5mm
Why wear Copper?
Copper is said to have anti-inflammatory properties when worn next to the skin. I personally have had great results from wearing and do everyday.
It does quite often leave a green tinge on the skin if you wear the jewellery frequently, due to oxidization, but there is no danger in this.
The jewellery I create is pure Copper and I don’t seal it as I love how the colours change over time, which is intentional as per my designs.
Some pieces will patina (change colours) over time and the results are often really pretty, please don’t be surprised if this happens as its natural for metals to change over time.
A few tips to look after your Copper jewellery
-
Take it off when swimming, showering or using any chemicals (you should with any jewellery anyway to keep them pristine).
-
Wipe with a cloth after wearing to prevent oils or moisture from hanging around as this can cause oxidization of the piece (it can change colour over time).
-
Cleaning - clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth or brush, dry thoroughly.
-
Store in a bag or container
